FAQ
And Something Pretty ships straight to your door:
- Fastway is used for deliveries around RSA.
- R55 is the cost for most deliveries unless stated otherwise on the individual product description.
- Unfortunately, there is no Flat Rate for customers outside of RSA. If you would like to buy something from my shop, please contact me for a quote on delivery.
- Deliveries will take from 3-7 working days to be delivered unless it is on backorder or being custom made.
- If a product is needed urgently please contact us directly at orders@andsomethingpretty.co.za so we can try to assist your needs.
- We do not have a physical store, but we do allow collections. You will be able to collect in Germiston, JHB between Monday to Thursday between 7:30 – 4:00 pm. The address will be communicated after purchase.
- You can only collect once we have confirmed that your order is ready to be collected. You can expect your parcel to be ready for collection in 3-7 working days, except for backorders and custom-made items.
- Collection days do not apply to public holidays.
- The collection point is simply a pick-up point, so they will not be able to assist with any details regarding your parcel.
- If you want to Collect your parcel please type COLLECT in the coupon section when checking out. This will subtract the delivery fee. By typing collect into the coupon code section you confirm that you have read points 1-4 and agree with them.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please read below for our return policy:
- You have 7 calendar days to inform us at orders@andsomethingpretty.co.za that you want to return your product and why.
- To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received your item in, and must be in the original packaging.
- You will need proof of purchase.
- We will arrange for the product to be collected from you.
- Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspection of the item.
- If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive a refund within 1-4 weeks depending on your card issuers policy.
- And Something Pretty will cover shipping costs if there is a defect with the product. If it was simply just a change of heart about your purchase, you will be responsible for shipping (delivery and collection) which is non-refundable.
- If your return is due to a defect the full amount of your purchase as well as the delivery fee will be refunded.
- Please Note: Custom-made products, family portraits, vouchers, and Sale items are not eligible for refunds.
- Any Information Given to us by you, will not be misused or shared with outside parties.
- If you have subscribed to our newsletter you can at any time unsubscribe
- We will ask permission before using any photos provided by you, on social media platforms.
Payments
- We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities through Payfast and yoco. All transactions are encrypted, however, we cannot take responsibility for any fraudulent activities. Please ensure you are aware of the risks and follow these tips: Secure Online payment Tips.
- If you would rather like to pay via eft, no problem, send us a mail with what you want to order and we will send you the banking details.
- We can also send you a yoco payment link to your phone.
Custom Made Orders (Portraits, custom garters, etc)
- Once a quote is agreed upon for a custom-made order, FULL payment is required if you would like us to proceed with the manufacturing of your Item/s.
- A lot of effort and time goes into making a custom product. Therefore, it is not eligible for a refund. If you are having a portrait painted/designed, please bear in mind that this is only an idea of the people portrayed and not a realistic interpretation.
